I was inspired by the 4th of July outfit from my previous post to try and make Grayson a little "john john" suit. So here is my first attempt. I thought it turned out really cute! Of course, the minute I put it on him, he spit up all over it and it was soaking wet. And he can't keep his hands out of his mouth--which creates more wet mess!! Oh well...I'm sure it will only get worse with a little boy!
I plan on making some more fun outfits this summer--I'll keep you posted.

Happy 4th of July ( I realize that this is late!)

For the 4th of July we went with some neighbors to a show at a new theatre on the square. Grayson loved the lights, but the singing was extremely loud, so Chad ended up standing in the back of the theatre with him for the whole show (along with all the other babies in there).

And here she is...Grayson and Ella get to play together on Wednesdays. Grayson loves to watch her and Ella likes to "mother" Grayson--it's really sweet.

Pawley's Island and more

We made it back from the beach and we're getting settled back in at home. We had a great time at Pawley's--just relaxing, playing games, and the guys did some fishing. Grayson did great for his first vacation and he's doing even better since we've been home. His reflux issues seem to be under control and I've learned how to calm his gas problems by watching what I eat. So we're all so much happier!

Grayson's 2 new toys he can use now!!

We started cloth diapering this week. Alot of his clothes don't fit when he wears them because they're so bulky!

12 weeks

We can't believe Grayson is almost 3 months old. He found his hands this week and is very interested in them! He loves to grab at his toys now! He's really starting to be fun to play and interact with! We just love making him smile.
We're heading to the beach this weekend with my family-- Grayson's first vacation! We're very excited to be there and be able to relax. We'll be updating with beach pics soon....

Grayson had his baby dedication at church this Sunday. He fell asleep before we left for church and slept through the whole dedication!

My mom was in town afew weeks ago and my dad came for the weekend to pick her up. We went hiking at Kennesaw Mountain---it was so nice to get out! Grayson loves being outside. We usually fill our day with several walks.

I love pajamas!! There's nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!

2 months old!

We had his 2 month check up last week and everything looks great!! He weighed 11 lbs. 6oz. and was 24 1/2 inches long!! He's going to be a tall boy! Chad's mom was in town last week. It's so nice to have an extra set of hands around. I never realized what hard work staying home would be!! I dress Grayson in several outfits a day because he's outgrowing them all so quickly--I want him to be able to wear them all!

We were at a friend's house and Grayson fell asleep on my lap, so they snapped some sleeping shots. I just love how peaceful he looks!!

My first Mother's Day!

These are the children who I kept last summer at this same time while their parents were in Peru. They came over to visit. Grayson was ready for his nap!!
