Grayson Update

Grayson is still loving books! This is his, "Here mommy, please read this" face.

Aren't those little slippers so cute? A neighbor handed them down to us--they make a crinkly sound so it's supposed to encourage him to walk. He has been very interested in them, but I haven't seen any signs of him taking steps by himself yet.
This is his "very surprised" face that he makes ALL THE TIME. It's really funny.

And here he is with his buddy. He loves to "talk" to Dakota every morning and Dakota is very sweet to listen.

Surprise Visit

On Monday, Uncle Andrew called to let us know that he would be visiting for the afternoon. We were so happy to have him here for a few hours! Grayson enjoyed showing him all of his new tricks!

Making "scary" faces!! This is one of Grayson's favorites!
We headed to Chick Fil A for lunch and they gave Grayson this balloon. He used to be afraid of balloons, but now this is his new favorite toy! After he wakes up from his naps, he has to find it to make sure it's still here.

On Tuesdays, a few of our little neighbor friends usually come over for a few hours. He loves watching them and he will follow them around wherever they go.

He's still not walking yet, but will stand for a few seconds all by himself--without realizing it! I don't think it will be too much longer! I can't wait to see those first steps!

Busy Week!

This week Aunt Bonnie and her friend came for a visit since it was their spring break. Grayson enjoyed some time with her in between their little excursions. We all made a trip to IKEA for half of one day! Yes! We were there for 4 hours!!
This weekend Grayson had his first Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. All the children walk from house to house and hunt easter eggs. He mostly enjoyed the flowers and the "balls" (that's what he called the eggs!).

His favorite part was getting home and having his little eggs all to himself!!

Grayson also got his first haircut this week. His daddy cut it while me and Dakota were out getting her x-rays. Needless to say, I was very surprised when I got back! It still needs a little work.
About Dakota's x-rays...we learned that she has a torn ACL in her left knee and will need surgery!! Poor Dakota!!
